Getting the job done right first time and providing honest advice is in our roots so we set you on the right path from the start. Our plants are given room to spread, never crowded and maintain vital airflow and only get placed where they'll thrive and add most value to your space rather than to fill gaps. Ask us about our low-light alternatives.

Countless hours of fastidious attention go into nurturing tens of thousands of hardy specimen plants to ready them for their forever homes. Some will suit certain conditions better than others so we measure your space's conditions and true capacity then provide the expertise to help make good decisions so your environment flourishes.

Live Décor grows indoor ornamental plants and hires our plant specimens to hundreds of businesses and events from Kerikeri to Warkworth.

We're based in picturesque rural Kamo, Whangarei surrounded by mature native podocarp forest, thermal springs and extensive subtropical gardens. Live Décor's 3000 square metre of greenhouses contain over 40,000 plants that are fed by rain and springwater. The greenhouses and hired plants are tended to by a small team of 8 with well over 100 years combined experience caring for indoor plants. Our plants grow in a low-tech, imperfect environment that's partially exposed to the elements which produces hardy plants that are ready for the imperfect real world.

Originally starting out as Living Décor Hire Plants by Brian and Laurine Jack, the company was rebranded to Live Décor in 2020 by current owners, macadamia growers and plant collectors Sam Clode and Dale Spencer. The new brand name both avoids confusion with a similarly named company as well as reflects the exciting new contemporary vision we have for the future of plant hire and horticulture.

Live Décor represents an honest, care-lead approach to commercial plant hire and plantscape design.
